June 30, 2024: Life, Moving On

Hello! I am finally finding some time for a long overdue blog post. This month has been one of the most hectic of the whole year, as June is wont to be for me. I am so excited to share some updates on what I’ve been up to.

For starters: the Speedrun Studios shows went amazingly well! They were so beautiful and I look back on the experience with a fondness that nothing will ever be able to replicate. Watching our talented actors bring my characters to life was truly an honor.

Truly one of the greatest honors I’ve had to be able to put these shows on with such talented people. So shoutout to Austin, Maryam, Sami, Will, Ashley, Jorge, Grace, Tyler, Aaron, Jadan, and Erin. So so so cool, for real.

In other news, I turned twenty! It’s amazing I’ve been alive this long, and it really hasn’t been all that long at all. So far I think twenty has been good to me. I spent the month writing, seeing my friends, and celebrating Pride Month. The best time ever.

On a serious note, June is not often fun for me. Personal tragedies and the anniversaries thereof run rampant during June. But isn’t it a beautiful thing to live in a world filled with friends who prove to you, day after day, that it’s still possible to have fun? To love the world you live in? I think it’s a beautiful thing. I hope you’ve had the best June ever.
